The timeskip actually kinda didn't do anything new cause all of them in Riverdale are just the same. The only different thing is their characters become young adults now and some other characters are not part of the show now like Jug's dad and sister and Veronica's mom. I mean all the core characters are now teachers at their old High School making the location being the same spot for most of the part of the show like what's the point of aging them up if they're still mostly gonna hangout on their High School? I'll rather like if they just stayed for being Teenagers for atleast until 7th season then we moved on.
